Вот четкая и абсолютно верная характеристика ХТ. Если кто-то сомневается - возьмите оба прибора и сравните их в одних и тех же условиях. Думаю вопросы отпадут сами собой I was all set to get a POD xt. And my buddy who's got both told me to come over and listen and fine tune the crap out of them to see if I'd like them. Now maybe in a different environment, like studio with monitors, the xt might shinebut to me the 2.0 kicked it's *** . We just got done with a massive a-b'ing between a POD pro 2.0 vs. POD xt kidney. We used them into a Peavey tube power amp, then a Mesa 1x12. There was no comparison for amp tone, the 2.0 is much fuller and warmer. The XT was brash and thin and much more "digi" sounding. Tons of EQ'ing and hour and a half later and the 2.0 still sounded better. Just thicker and less "digital" sounding. We even hooked up an additional parametric EQ and that made things better but.... the XT has way more options though. All those stompers and eq'ing just makes it more tweakable I guess. But I'd rather spend time playing than twisting knobs never being quite happy. The effects in the XT are very pristine and sharp. too sharp if you ask me. The 2.0's effects are a lot warmer, more like stomp boxes, there's a little dirt in there. and I noticed the delays are distorted on it whereas on the XT they are very clean, like in an efx loop. The XT is more like a polished Def Leppard studio sound, too sterile. That might be able to be changed, but I'm mainly concerned with the tone of the amp models. I kinda liked the 2.0 dirty delay sound anyhow! And it's so much simpler to use on the fly. Then we took them both and plugged right into a Fender Deluxe reverb on the plain channel. Turned the treble and bass off. The POD pro sounded good that way too. Sounded better through the Power amp though mainly because the Fender couldn't handle the low end from the POD pro. So now, do I want a POD pro or kidney? Is there a difference in sounds?
