Коллеги. Кто уже пытался или уже делал преамп из усилителя Matchless Chieftain? Год назад у меня был процессор вамп2 и там модель этого усилителя была самая запоминающаяся. В мануале было написано, что этот усилитель, дескать, один из самых-самых. Вот что про него пишут: 1997- Matchless Chieftain Amplifier, completely hand built with immaculate point to point wiring work. Class A circuitry. 2X12 speakers: Matchless Special Design 30W 8 Ohm Celestion Signature Series. All-tube with 4 12AX7's + 2 EL34's (power tubes). Back panel includes choice of 3 inputs for loudspeakers in typical 16, 8 or 4 ohm operation. Effects send and return inputs. Slo-blo fuse. Front panel sports big pearly chicken knobs for volume, bass, middle, treble, brilliance, master and reverb, in that order. Brilliance akin to presence on British rigs. Below front panel proudly displays Matchless title with backlit "on" feature. Once warmed up, there's no tomorrow with this incredible tone machine which beckons the call of any single-coil, humbucker or other pick-up type and configuration. Special rugged Tolex cover like a top notch suitcase, only you wish it was that light in weight. This one's a tank. You can't help but wonder where all the poundage comes from but when you hear all that luscious Class A tone coming out from within, you soon forget about such petty small stuff. Nothing compares to this amp with a sound unlike any Fender, Marshall, Laney, HiWatt, Randall, Boogie, Bedrock, Bogner, etc. This is the one with the killing mids and unique fullness and rich tone to deliver the goods for any genre. Country? Perfect. Rock and metal? No problem-o. Blues? Watch out! Even a jazzer may want this amp for thickness and a great reverb sound. In a word? Un!@#$%believable tone! Specs: Matchless Chieftain Amp. 2-12" speakers Tone: Undescribable, incredible, lush, etc. Appearance: beautiful appointments in a compact, solid chassis with hand work like the true artwork it is. Needs/wants: wheels! History: a decided hotrod amp from the humble beginnings of a Vox AC 30 replacement amp (more rugged and durable for the road). Quirks: difficult finding an absolute clean tone! Desirability: hot in todays market. No longer in production makes it even hotter. Seen in all kinds of playing situations from metal to country and all things in between. И ещё: Tested it next to my new Marshall JCM2000 4X12, and thought the Marshall sounded like %^&$ by comparison Надумал я недавно спаять предусилитель этого усилителя. Оконечник из него мне не надо - и так два ламповых оконечника дома стоят. Нашёл я в инете схему этой модели, сделал лист деталей. Подобрал БП. А потом подумал: стоит-ли? Действительно-ли этот усилитель самый-самый?(точнее, его предусилитель). Схема преампа-то элементарная - 19 деталек, две eсс83 и 4 потенца. Может звук из-за подписных динамиков Celection Signature такой "крутой" Кто знает, где можно найти его сэмплы? А то я что-то сомневаюсь - не собрать-ли вместо него преамп из Mesa Mark IIс - его я уже слышал и играл на нём. Спасибо.
