Вот отзыв человека на гитару Gibson Custom Shop Boneyard (Joe Perry model), стоимостью около 3000 долларов США: Like I said the guitar sounds amazing and it looks pretty nice w/ a good flame top and unique colour. This is where the fun stopped abruptly. I had waited a long time and had lusted over getting one of these guitars since they were first announced maybe about a year ago now. I ordered one and it took a few months to get and when I went to see it, it had scratches from being hung on display in a bad hanger or something. It also had some other light scratches from being played on the back. This guitar has a slight aging to the finish to look older but you could tell the difference between the aging and the scratching. They took a bit of money off the price and were to have it touched up professionally on the nicks by the headstock so I agreed to buy it. When they brought out the case it was a standard case not the Boneyard one and I stressed to the salesman for the second time that I thought this guitar had been at a trade show or something. Of course they tried to convince me otherwise but I have dealt with enough music store salespeople to know that they are either lying or don't have a clue about the product they are selling. I rate them about 1/4 inch above car salespeople. Luckily I have one guy I trust at a local store but unfortunately they don't sell Gibson. Anyway I said I didn't want it and for them to order me a brand new one. It could be months they said but that was OK with me. A week later low and behold they found a new one at the distrubutor and I went back again and bought the new one. When I got it home I noticed that the high G note on the low E and high E would not sound at all. There was buzzing elsewhere on the neck as well. I then saw a horrific hump where the fretboard joined the body around the 16th fret. The frets were so rough it looked as though someone had taken a rough file to purposely make the guitar hard to play. I have never, ever seen frets that bad even on a $300 dollar Korean made guitar. There was also glue spilling out of the neck joint on the high E side. It was my fault for not looking carefully at it when I picked it up but I had loved the one in the store and when they ordered me this new one I had not even questioned the quality of the "Custom Shop" instruments. What a complete joke. I can hardly describe how poor the manufacturing on this piece of shit really is for a guitar of this price. If there even is a quality control person at the "Custom Shop" they should be sent to the Epiphone facility in Korea to learn about building a guitar. That or fire his optometrist. I've never been so disgusted. And the salesman had checked the neck and tweaked the truss rod when I picked it up, that prick can't say he didn't notice the neck hump then but he happily swiped my credit card and handed it to me. I am getting tired of typing so I'll wrap it up. I called the store and said I would be returning it. I considered taking the origional guitar they had in the store but that one also had a neck hump not quite as bad but still unacceptable. The store sent them both back to Gibson and apologized and acted apalled but I really don't believe he didn't see it when he adjusted the truss rod. I got a refund and will never go back. In the end i learned that The GIBSON CUSTOM SHOP IS A FUCKING DISGRACE plain and simple. Другими словами, и на старуху бывает проруха. (Не к тому, что Gibson плохо делает ВСЕ гитары:-)))

Tecwyn Не знаю, как у этого кренделя, но у нас здесь довольно-таки тяжело приобрести high-end гитару конкретной модели, ну, не считая самых ходких. Так что мне пришлось заказывать неглядя. Я поиграл на подобной б/у, мне очень понравилась, но цена была все-таки неразумной: за те же деньги я, используя контакты, заказал новую и остался доволен. Раз на раз не приходится, но бабло-то ему вернули, че он?

Инструмент музыкальный новый-это не новая вам машина. Поэтому я снимаю кепку перед теми ,кто не слушая инструмента, покупает на Ебаях или заказывает. Рисковые ребята однако.

Я однажды купил так гитару - рисково. По объявлению договорился с продавцом, что он привезет мне гитару. Он привез. Цвет мне не понравился. Звук проверить смог только в тихую, т.е. не подключаясь. Но взял этот фендер. Теперь это мой фаворит. При этом у него средний сингл - не звучит почему-то. Но 85 процентов времени я играю именно на нем. Вы меня осуждаете?

Не знаю, деньгами я не рисковал: не понравилось- оставил бы. Я заказал, но не обязывался купить. Тем более такую типовую гитару я запробовал перед этим. Правда, там уже были личные знакомства- мне и цену поразумнее сделали, так что рисковал скорее обидами (как говорится, не имей 100 р.) А потом, ну если нет ничего подходящего, то приходится как-то выходить из положения.
